Outwood Grange Academies Trust is seeking a contractor to enter into a single stage design and build contract for the works. It is anticipated that the design will be developed to RIBA Stage D or E by the consultant employed design team and then completed by the Contractor. The consultant design team will not be Novated to the contractor.
The contract includes design and construction of a new 2,750 m2 Performing Arts building. In addition as enabling works alterations to the existing roads, construction of a new retaining wall structure and a new Multi Use Games Area. These enabling works will potentially be procured as a separate package of works to the new Performing Arts building. Further information will be contained within the Pre-Qualification documents.

Works to include new teaching facilities, music practice rooms, performance hall, academic and administration offices, stores, common circulation areas and associated external works and drainage. Further information will be contained within the tender documents.

The proposed Gross Internal Floor Area is approximately 2,750m 2 with a construction value of between 4 000 000 GBP and 5 000 000 GBP. The enabling works and Multi Use Games Area have a construction value ranging from 500 000 GBP to 750 000 GBP as noted in II.1.5 the enabling works may be procured separately to the main Performing Arts building. All figures noted are in GBP and exclude VAT.
