The Works will comprise the Design and Construction of a New Leisure Centre for Eastleigh to replace the existing Fleming Park Leisure Centre which is at the end of its economic life and will need to be demolished with due regard to possible hazardous materials, with the site made good.

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Organisations must demonstrate sufficient financial capacity and standing to comply with the Councils procedures – currently, project value not to be greater than 35 % of the bidding organiations annual turnover.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Candidates will be assessed on technical merit, including experience in the design and construction of similar projects, references provided, technical capacity including the project team, experience of BREEAM excellent, Insurance coverage, Quality Assurance procedures, health & safety, Equal opportunities and Environmental Management. Candidates will also be assessed on financial record and standing.
