Reference to project(s) and/or programme(s): The Contracting Authority intends to submit an application for funding under EFRID and may apply for other sources of European funding.
VI.3)Additional information
The Youth Hostel Association (England and Wales) will have a leasehold interest in part of the completed facility and will provide input into the design and the tender exercise but will not be a signatory to the contract.
The project is anticipated to be part funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund who may impose specific conditions on the project, e.g. that this contract opportunity may be works execution only rather than design and build. Further information will be provided in due course. The pre-qualification questionnaire for this opportunity is only available via www.nepoportal.org (Reference number 9PPK-HU4TEY) All economic operators interested in this opportunity must register with www.nepoportal.org in order to access the documentation, raise clarifications and submit responses to the pre-qualification questionnaire. Registration instructions are available from the website. For the avoidance of doubt Newcastle City Council/NEPO shall not be a party to this contract award process.
