II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

Design, fabrication and delivery of a fully operational multi-cat type harbour work boat to Belfast Harbour in compliance with the following minimum criteria.
1. A multi-purpose workboat suitable for harbour maintenance work and compliant with the UK MCA Workboat code of practice Cat 3.
2. Steel Hull.
3. Minimum overall dimensions 16m x 6m.
4. A deck space comprising of a 4m x 4m clear working deck area plus a further 16m x 1m clear working deck area, fully sheathed deck.
5. Hydraulic Arm with 2 Nr remote controls and the following minimum capacity:
a. 10 tonnes @ 2m reach
b. 4.5 tonnes @ 4.5m reach
c. 0.5 tonnes @ 18m reach
6. One number hydraulic winch with a minimum capacity of 5 tonnes SWL.
7. Propulsion; Twin diesel engines with a combined minimum output of 400 bhp and twin 5 blade propellers fitted with rope cutters.
8. Generator a 20 kVA (minimum), 240V and 110V.
9. Covered Wheelhouse comprising the following:
a. Construction comprising minimum 5mm Lloyds Grade “A” steel plating;
b. Toughened glass.
10. Heads and working facility with holding system.
11. Chart plotter, DSC VHF, depth sounder, navigation lights and deck working lights.
12. Delivery to Belfast Harbour fully operational and coded.
13. The Boat must be subject to a full out-of-water Condition Survey, verification of its safety and lifesaving equipment and an assessment of its stability before a Certificate is issued. This must be completed by a suitably qualified and authorised marine surveyor working with a certifying authority.
