The Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to procure design team services to support the Trusts delivery of a new accident & emergency facility on the New Cross Hospital site. The design team is to be a consortium consisting of a lead consultant, architect, structural engineer, mechanical and electrical services engineer and planning consultant. Services are likely but will not limited to those set out in the terms and conditions of the Agreement for the appointment of architects, surveyors and engineers for commissions in the National Health Service (1995 Edition).
The design team service is to provide and deliver, but will not be limited to, a full range of quality construction services. Such services may include value engineering; optioneering and life cycle cost studies; Breeam, AEDET and other such reviews. Preparation of tender documents; assisting as required in evaluation processes; preparation of contract documentation, including pre-design services; programming, planning, providing designs, drawings, specifications and other technical submissions; the administration of construction contracts.
