HLT wishes to appoint a single provider and the contract term will be a maximum of 4 years, commencing in April 2016.
The Language App will be developed using a phased approach, comprising pilot, full development, launch, and on-going maintenance phases. At present, funding is only available for the pilot phase.
The pilot phase will be targeted at the development of a prototype app that can used to evaluate educational benefit and inform decisions around progression to the full development, launch and maintenance phases. Further development of the Language App will not progress unless the full development phase is green lit.
