2.2

Description of the goods or services required

The purpose of this project is to develop an accredited work-based learning pathway for Chief Social Work Officers (CSWOs) at SCQF level 11. The aim is to support the continuous development of social service leaders and to enable their full involvement in the strategic planning and delivery of integrated services. This needs to be seen as part of a wider development that will link to and offer progression in workbased and assessed learning within a career development pathway for social workers The supplier will develop benchmark competences, conduct an options appraisal for the processes of assessment of and support to candidates, accreditation and quality assurance of the learning process and consult with the sector. The SSSC particularly welcomes a partnership approach to meeting the specifications in this tender.
