The Council is looking for its development partner to:
— Prepare comprehensive design proposals for the new public Sports and Leisure Facility in accordance with the building and specification criteria set down by the Council, full details of which will be issued to short-listed parties at the Outline Solution stage;
— Prepare a clear funding and delivery strategy to deliver this major development, including details of any enabling development;
— Construct and deliver a public Sports and Leisure Facility to the Council, either on the KALC site or elsewhere in Hove;
— Provide comprehensive design proposals for any enabling development on the KALC site;
— Construct and deliver the enabling development to the Council on the KALC site.

The estimated cost excluding VAT indicated below is for the construction costs of the development, the level of these costs will be determined by the scale of residential/specification of the leisure facility.
