We are seeking agencies who can help the University promote its ‘life changing’ brand and communicate our vision and values to a global audience in a highly competitive and regulated market.

The University of Sunderland is seeking to appoint a partner(s) to work with us over a period of three years with an option to extend for a further year in two disciplines.
Value over 4 years is anticipated to be circa 1.6 million GBP ex VAT.
We are seeking agencies who can help the University promote its ‘life changing’ brand and communicate our vision and values to a global audience in a highly competitive and regulated market.
This framework may be also accessed by all University subsidiary companies and the University of Sunderland Students Union.
Marketing agency.
The appointed agency will partner with the University to provide creative solutions to market the University regionally, nationally and globally across the full range of media channels – TV, cinema, radio, outdoor, press, recruitment advertising, and a variety of digital channels.
The agency would also be expected to produce some of the University’s primary branded print pieces such as the undergraduate prospectus.
A proven track record of providing creative design solutions that demonstrate a return on investment is required.
Media buying
The appointed agency would be required to present their preferred partner for media buying. This may be an in-house solution or partnering with an external company.
Digital agency.
The appointed agency will partner with the University to provide creative solutions to help recruit students in a global environment, to further the University’s brand and to work across a number of sub-brands and interests. Proven expertise in the following areas is a pre-requisite:
– A portfolio of innovative and creative web design with an emphasis on user-experience solutions.
– Planning and implementing highly creative social media campaigns.
– Expertise and experience of SEO, PPC, CRM campaigning, remarketing, content strategies, and online advertising.

We are seeking an agency who can help the University promote its ‘life changing’ brand and communicate our vision and values to a global audience in a highly competitive and regulated market.
The appointed agency would be required to present their prefered partner for media buying. This may be an in-house solution or partnering with an external company.
