Marketing services. Membership lies at the heart of English Heritage income. In 2012/13 membership income accounted for GBP 21m, representing 38% of earned income.
In order for English Heritage to continue to see growth and develop its Membership programme, it has been recognised that one of the key business areas for investment is to exploit Direct and Digital channels to acquire new members. In order to progress and to achieve projected targets, it has become clear that specialist and dedicated resource is necessary.
Therefore the opportunity presenting itself within this contract is the recruitment of a Direct Marketing service agency. The awarded agency will be required to propose and deliver a Membership Direct Marketing action plan to meet proposed targets for next year, and to make recommendations for how we can build upon this activity over the next 3 years.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Authority will apply all the offences listed in Article 45(1) of Directive 2004/18/EC (implemented as Regulation 23(1) of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2006 in the UK) and all of the professional misconducts listed at Article 45(2) of Directive 2004/18/EC (see also Regulation 23(2) in the PCR 2006) to the decision of whether a Candidate is eligible to be invited to tender.
