As part of Bury’s current implementation of a new Adult Care Services system, PROTOCOL, Bury Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide a comprehensive end-to-end managed scanning service for Bury Adult Social Care / Pennine Care Mental Health Records.
The service provider will be responsible for all aspects of the project:

    • Secure Document Collection / Delivery
    • Document Preparation
    • Document Indexing
    • Secure Data Transfer / Upload
    • Secure Confidential Destruction
    • Complete File Rebuild and Return

Up to 1,500,000 Bury Adult Social Care / Pennine Care Mental Health documents will require digitisation.  The service provider will be required to transfer the digital images and associated index data directly into the Council’s Electronic Document Records Management system, Information@Work, via a secure VPN link to a specified filing system.
We anticipate it will take 6 weeks to complete and will commence as soon as possible following award of this exercise.
