Hanover is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to undertake Domestic Heating works across 6 Contracts:
— Lot 1 — Package 2a: Domestic Heating Installations (North Area),
— Lot 2 — Package 2a: Domestic Heating Installations (East Area),
— Lot 3 — Package 2a: Domestic Heating Installations (South Area),
— Lot 4 — Package 2a: Domestic Heating Installations (West Area),
— Lot 5 — Package 2b: Domestic Heating Servicing and Breakdowns (North and East Area),
— Lot 6 — Package 2b: Domestic Heating Servicing and Breakdowns (South and West Area).
These will be 10-year JCT MTC 2016 (as amended) Contracts. The Domestic Heating Systems comprise primarily gas but also unvented electric cylinders and air source heat pumps. Hanover is proactively exploring renewable energy and fuel switch solutions, which may be introduced across parts or all of its stock over the 10-year term.

The Contract will require a fully inclusive (3 star) gas system service and maintenance provision with a 24/7, 365 response service for breakdowns, and servicing requirements for a range of other domestic heating sources including electric unvented cylinders and air source heat pumps.
At the time of this notice, there are 2385 properties with gas heating, 657 properties with electric unvented cylinders and 61 properties with domestic air source heat pumps, but this may be subject to change during the life of the Contract.

The Contract will require a fully inclusive (3 star) gas system service and maintenance provision with a 24/7, 365 response service for breakdowns, and servicing requirements for a range of other domestic heating sources including electric unvented cylinders and air source heat pumps.

The Contracting Authority reserves the right to cancel the procurement and not to proceed with the long-term Contract(s) at any stage of the procurement process. The Contracting Authority also reserves the right not to award a Contract. The Contracting Authority nor any person on whose behalf of whom this procurement is undertaken is to be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest or tendering for this Contract. Hanover will be providing an opportunity for all interested Suppliers to attend a briefing session at the Birmingham Marriott Hotel, Five Ways, Birmingham, B16 8SJ between 10:00 and 12:00 noon. The purpose of this briefing will be to provide an introduction to Hanover as well as an overview of the procurement process and the objectives of the procurement exercise. There will also be an opportunity to raise any queries you may have. Suppliers must register in advance in order to attend. Details are available on the EU Supply procurement portal.
