As part of The City of Edinburgh Council’s requirement to meet the Scottish Housing Quality Standard by 2015, we are seeking to commission a main contractors to carry out heating system replacement in Council owned domestic properties within Edinburgh.
The work will be based on a 4 year Framework contract starting 2014 and finishing on 2018.
The work generally shall involve the removal of existing solid fuel, electric or gas fired heating systems and the installation of new electric or gas heating systems in occupied or void houses. It is anticipated that approximately 97 % of the new installations will be gas heating systems. The work will take place in traditional and non traditional construction type houses in low rise, tenement and high rise blocks.
