Waltham Forest Council is holding an event for interested parties for their forthcoming remodeling and re-commissioning of Domiciliary Care. Below, you will see the details of the event and the schedule.

 

The Market Engagement Event will take place on:

Who can attend?

 

This event is open to any parties who have an interest or are involved in delivering Domiciliary Care in Waltham Forest and wish to be involved in shaping these services.

 

What will it involve?

 

The event will include a presentation by the Council on the current arrangements for Domiciliary Care in the borough, as well as an overview on the future strategy. There will be a discussion on the outcomes that the Council aspires to achieve over the coming years.

 

The main focus of the event will be interactive workshops where the Council can learn about the experience of those who have an interest or are involved in delivering Domiciliary Care in Waltham Forest, best practice examples and how this can be shaped to deliver the new service which will be in place from 1st October 2015. This will be enhanced by frequent opportunities during the event to network with other participants and Council officers

 

 

The aim of the event is to support the Council to:

 

·         Learn about examples of best practice in Domiciliary Care delivery from a providers’ perspective.

 

·         Understand what issues/challenges current or potential suppliers to Waltham Forest have identified when providing Domiciliary Care for Local Authorities

 

·         Learn about the innovative approaches that current or potential suppliers to Waltham Forest have identified to enable savings and efficiencies to be made in the delivery of Domiciliary Care.

 

·         Improve providers’ understanding of the Council’s vision, the drivers behind it and the outcomes to be achieved.
