The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking to contract with a number of providers for the provision of new domiciliary care services for older people and adults with disabilities. The specification has 3-main service elements; domiciliary care, rapid response, and home-based respite for carers. Providers are expected to be able to deliver all these elements, however, where this is not possible providers will still be able to join the framework on a limited basis. The Council will operate a flexible framework with 3 tiers of Provider, and a mix of area based ‘Lead’ provider and city-wide coverage.
