The Council on behalf of itself and other bodies is seeking further potential providers of individual care packages of domiciliary care and continuing healthcare packages for adults, children and young people under a provider panel agreement (divided into 2 lots) for the provision of spot purchases for domiciliary care services and continuing healthcare packages. (It is to be noted that this contract will only be used when individual care packages are not capable of being fulfilled by providers from the framework for provision of domiciliary care services). The provider panel will be made up of multiple providers (on a non-exclusive basis) for the provision of spot purchase for domiciliary care services and continuing healthcare packages. There are no restrictions to the number of providers who may be members of the provider panel only that they meet all the requirements of the invitation to tender and service specification.

The Council reserves the right to allow any additional bidder(s) to apply to join the provider panel at a future date as and when required at the Council’s sole discretion provided that they fully meet all the requirements of the invitation to tender and specification. Once the provider panel has been established then the intention is for the provider panel to be re-opened for bidders to apply and membership to be refreshed.

The maximum length of the provider panel agreement is therefore 6 years.
