The contract comprises upgrading existing door entry systems to GPRS access control ‘cloud based system’ to approximately 150 blocks. Modems will need to be upgraded and controllers either replaced or upgraded depending on age. The GPRS Access system shall comprise of system controllers that will control up to 2 doors and 1 000 users (as a minimum). All access control wiring in communal areas shall be new and enclosed in heavy duty galvanised steel conduit/trunking.
The contract is likely to commence in summer 2016 for a period of approximately 6 months.
