Description

Leicester City Council wishes to appoint a contractor to:

Carry out a detailed CCTV camera survey of all the drains, manholes, gullies, catch-pits, sewers, and ALL other drainage related features for the complete periphery of Attenborough House and the car parking area under and adjacent to Attenborough House.

Should any drains / sewers be blocked, the contractor will open-up the blockage by pressure jetting to complete the camera survey of the blocked pipe run.

The contractor shall prepare a drawing in AutoCad of the area surrounding Attenborough House wherein ALL the info pertaining to the drainage layout of Attenborough House and the surrounding area is plotted. The information required will be 1) Cover levels, 2) Invert levels. 3) Drain pipe dia. and direction of flow. 3) Manhole details and depth.

NOTE !! This drawing must be in AutoCad Dwg. Format, (required to process the info further). Manual drawing / sketches are strictly NOT permitted.

As the number of blocked pipes which may need unblocking is presently not known, contractor shall give unit price for pressure jetting and unblocking any blockage found. This unit price times number of blockages will be used to calculate the total invoice.

The contractor shall submit along with the video imaging discs a record log of where along the pipe any cracks / breaks in the drainage pipes etc. are found, so that the damaged area can be quickly and easily identified for repairs.

The contractor must be able to start work on site within 7 working days of receiving the order for the works.

The works and drawings must be completed and delivered to the Structures Section within 7 working days of the date of completion of the survey.

The time allowed for the completion of works is 10 working days.

Only quotations on the form below will be accepted. However, any supporting documents will be considered. This should be returned by 9.00am on 5 November 2012 at the very latest.
