The NHS Leadership Academy anticipates requiring work of varying duration from short term pieces to longer term longitudinal work so should be able manage capacity and any intervention supported by actors/facilitators/trainers would be an integration with the bigger leadership programme delivery.
Providers will need to be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the NHS Leadership Academy both during delivery of a piece of work and throughout the duration of the framework.
Providers must be able to respond to the timescales of the NHS Leadership Academy, including in bidding for new pieces and in completing work on time and in budget. Providers need to be organised to ensure this occurs and to build in contingencies for unforeseen occurrences. Providers must not under any circumstances sub-contract to another Provider for work commissioned to them.
A willingness to and experience of collaboration with other acting/drama-based organisations is important so experience of successful collaborative working is valuable.
Knowledge and implementation of the Data Protection Act 1998 is essential and providers will need to demonstrate what actions they take to comply.
Providers must demonstrate awareness of potential or actual ethical issues related to the topics/work that the NHS Leadership Academy might commission and take appropriate action including where applicable advising on options.
A Nominated Lead for all NHS Leadership Academy work, who will be contactable and available, is required.
A team of available and suitably experienced and skilled staff who can meet the requirements of the NHS Leadership Academy is essential.
