Warrignton Borough council acting on behalf of Warrrington DAAt is seeking interest to tender for the provision of drug and alcohol treatment services within the two prisons in Warrington. Warrignton DAAt is keen to develop a robust recovery based provision (con clinical treatment) within Warrington including HMP Risley and HMYOI Thorn Cross. the service will work with males within both establishments and will develop and deliver a range of drug and alchol related provisions around group work, individual based provision and potentially deliver appropriate drug testing processes. The service will cover all classified drugs as well as some consideration for prescribed drugs. The service will meet the needs of all men engaged with the provision and will work woth other partners and treatment providers within the prison setting to ensure a whole system approach to ensuring drug and alcohol related interventisons are delivered.
The contract will be for a period of 3 years (subject to external funding being made avalaible to the Council) with the option to extend for two further periods of one year.
