Description
The main objective is to bring selected learning tools and best practice from the circa £2.5m investment in learning and development materials produced for the Care Act in 14/15 (see section below) into a single e-learning package. This will be easily accessible and free to use for the 14,000 care provider organisations (many of whom will be small providers with no access to alternative staff training/education programmes), 152 local authorities with social care responsibilities and wider delivery partners who are embedding the 15/16 care and support reforms. This requirement should provide truly interactive learning for social care staff (available irrespective of local platforms), for use as part of a blended approach to learning and skills development
