Description of the contract
To ensure we have the right skills & knowledge to deliver our business, we provide an extensive range and blend of learning and development solutions. As part of this provision we continue to develop bespoke e-learning products. Our current e-learning portfolio consists of approximately 150 courses, ranging from bespoke formal e-learning content, to bite sized quick guides and some off the shelf content. The majority of the portfolio has been developed externally with a small number of products developed internally. This Framework Agreement is being established by the Environment Agency to with it’s own requirement in mind and to meet it’s capacity needs however, the framework can be made accessible to other Government bodies including but not limited to central and local government departments and Non Departmental Public Bodies. We are establishing a Framework Agreement to facilitate the development of bespoke e-learning. We plan to appoint a minimum of three providers who will then be eligible to bid for our future e-learning projects. We are keen to develop a direct collaborative relationship with the successful providers, in particular instructional designers. To meet this need we are looking for providers for whom the provision of e-learning is a primary activity. A managed service provider with a third party supply chain approach is unlikely to prove of value. Our e-learning solutions require providers to build relationships with Technical Leads across the Environment Agency. Value could be added with a consistent instructional designer who gains an understanding of the stakeholder needs, the technical leads area and how they fit in at organisational level.
