Jisc Collections e-books for FE has provided all FE institutions in the UK with free access to a collection of around 3 000 e-books since 2009. The purpose of this ITT is to acquire a further collection of relevant and up-to-date e-book titles to support the teaching and learning needs of the FE sector.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The purpose of this ITT is to acquire a further collection of relevant and up-to-date e-book titles (to the maximum value of 919,000 GBP inc. VAT) to support the teaching and learning needs of the FE sector. Jisc Collections, from the start of the next academic year (September 2014) will license the new e-books for a minimum of 2 years.
The benefits to suppliers is a national agreement for the FE community; which include rapid sale, efficiency savings in the administration of individual sales to colleges, and national integration of the Supplier’s titles into a fragmented e-book market.
