Description

South Cambridgeshire and Cambridge City Children and Young Peoples Area Partnership and South Cambs Inclusion Partnership have pooled funds to award a contract for £60,000 for 1 year to enhance the provision of early mental health support to young people.

The focus will be in two parts:

• 11 – 16 school based provision (South Cambridgeshire) awarding £40,000 of the contract funds
And
• 16 – 19 community based provision awarding £20,000 of the contract funds

The provision will be accessed by effective identification of young people through schools, locality and other universal and preventative providers, with the expectation that young people’s needs will be assessed using the Common Assessment Framework prior to referral or as part of the process of work with the young person.

An integrated approach with the IAPT and EILS pilot in South Cambridgeshire and Cambridge City, and a seamless approach with other preventative services, particularly the links between schools, CYPS Locality Teams and CAMH will be essential.

The Partnerships are looking for an approach which builds on a sound evidence base of good practice with appropriate governance in place, including supervision arrangements.

The contractor should be appropriately skilled and qualified. Indication of proven track record of delivering similar projects and CYP skills.
