Description of the contract
The Curriculum Materials for Schools Project was initiated by the ECITB to provide teaching resources for School Teachers, this project has been supported by industry partners. The aim of this project is to increase the number of workers in the Engineering Construction Industry by highlighting the opportunities the ECI has to offer to school children. The purpose of the project is to help to deliver National Curriculum subjects that are pertinent to the Engineering Construction Industry. These resources must also encourage the uptake of the ECITB “QCF Level 2 Certificate in an Introduction to the Energy Industry” Most importantly materials must raise awareness of ECI career opportunities to school children. Additionally the project must promote the Engineering Construction Industry, the Industry Partners and the ECITB.
