The Trent Valley in Derbyshire stretches roughly from Walton-on-Trent on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border through to Sawley near Long Eaton and then on into Nottinghamshire.
This brief is aimed at appointing a consultant capable of undertaking an economic assessment of the Trent Valley in Derbyshire. This assessment needs to take account of the current pressures for change affecting this landscape to allow a comparison between what the potential economic value of the landscape might be with positive coordinated intervention as opposed to a ‘do nothing’ scenario.
