Description of the contract

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) is intending to let a contract to review and update the Indices of Deprivation 2010 (ID 2010). This project will review existing deprivation indicators to ensure the Indices remain fit for purpose, consider potential new data sources and review whether the existing statistical methods are still justified. This entails refining the existing multiple deprivation model used in the ID 2010, rather than developing a new one. Full details are contained in the attached specification.
