Description of the goods or services required

In order to support sustainable education within speciality services, it is essential to create commonality across Paediatric and Neonatal education. It follows, therefore, that the development of an MSc in Paediatric Advanced Practice and MSc in Neonatal Advanced Practice will be underpinned by a foundation of modules common to both Programmes applicable across the workforce levelled for practitioner roles. Individual specialist modules will then be accessed by practitioners on these Programmes, dependent on clinical specialism. <<<>>> All Programmes must be nationally accessible ensuring equity for all Scottish Health Boards including remote and rural communities. This is an excellent opportunity for strengthening partnerships between service and education providers/HEIs. Tenders are therefore requested from collaborative partnerships between education providers, education providers and NHS Scotland Health Boards (service), across geographical areas.

There is a maximum budget of £957,988.00 GBP, excluding VAT available for these Programmes over a three year period from 2013 – 2016.
