Emergency Care (Carers Emergency Scheme) – Market Sounding Exercise
85000000-9 – Health and social work services
THIS IS NOT A TENDER OPPORTUNITY. This Market Sounding Exercise (MSE) is not an invitation to tender or a request for formal expressions of interest. The council, as contracting authority, is issuing this request for information only, in order to assess the reaction of the market and thus make any potential procurement process more focused and efficient. The MSE concerns the market as a whole, rather than the merits of individual organisations. Leeds City Council intends to procure a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to deliver emergency care in the event that a carer is temporarily unable to provide the care they normally provide, and where there are no family members or friends who can step in and take over the caring role. To support this, we would like to gain some information from the market, namely: – the potential level of interest from providers to this contract opportunity – potential costs to deliver the service – views on the scope and service requirement issues set out in the attached document Please complete and return the attached Appendix 1 before the stated deadline.
