The EAP (Employee Assistance Programme is designed to assist employees of the House of Commons, House of lords and the Parliamentary Digital Service, Members of Parliament and their staff and Peers and their staff in dealing with personal and professional problems that might adversely impact their work performance, health and wellbeing. The service will be accessible by around 8 000 Parliamentary staff, Members, Peers and their staff, who can work on the Parliamentary Estate, in a constituency or outreach office or at home. These people may be full-time, part-time, interns, volunteers or work-experience students. The Tenderer must provide the following as a minimum: A Freephone 24/7 confidential helpline for access by all of the aforementioned and their dependents, which will include, spouses, civil partners and dependent children to include guidance and advice on matters related to their work or home life. Telephone and counselling support provided by qualified staff 24/7, 365 days per year. Face to face counselling sessions. as required within 30 minutes or 5 miles travelling time (by car or public transport) of individual’s place of work or home within the UK.
