The University of Portsmouth is looking to appoint a single supplier that can work with the Human Resources Department to provide the advertising service to the University for all of our staff recruitment at the most cost effective price. Ideally the supplier will have the ability to negotiate substantial discounts with a large number of publishers used by the University and will be able to offer the University advertising at rates lower than we would be able to purchase directly. Please see the details of the tender for further information. Tenders are being invited for a new contract for a length of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years.

The University of Portsmouth has on average 600 staff vacancies per year, with approximately 91 % being advertised externally on the University’s website and of that around 35 % being advertised with other publishers. The University is made up of five faculties and a number of professional services departments. The types of vacancies include Senior Management, Academic, Research and Professional Services staff. This tender is to appoint a single supplier that can work with the Human Resources Department to provide the advertising service to the University for all of our staff recruitment at the most cost effective price. Ideally the supplier will have the ability to negotiate substantial discounts with a large number of publishers used by the University and will be able to offer the University advertising at rates lower than we would be able to purchase directly. In addition, they will research and offer recruitment advertising advice to ensure that each department in the University is spending their advertising budget in the most effective way. The provider will have the proven ability, experience and excellent customer service to implement a service that delivers. The University is seeking to develop a relationship with a supplier which provides efficient and cost-effective service arrangements. It will be capable of meeting current and future market changes and will meet, and often exceed, client expectations. Tenders are being invited for a new contract for a length of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years.
