It is anticipated that the new homes will be constructed directly for the Council and managed by Welwyn Hatfield Community Housing Trust.
The new homes that the Council intends to build will be of very high quality. This will help the Council ensure that:
— They last well, providing many years service for tenants,
— They are pleasant places to live,
— They reflect local design and characteristics,
— We maintain high levels of customer satisfaction,
— Future maintenance and repairs cost are manageable.
The type of home we will be providing will be determined by the local housing need.
