The Trust has researched the market and found that no company other than Karl Storz can provide the maintenance required. This is due to there being no company other than Karl Storz having the skilled engineers, or access to spare parts. Karl Storz also advised that they do not release their training manuals, as they do not want other companies to learn the required techniques to maintain the equipment.
