Description of the goods or services required

Skills Development Scotland (SDS) invited bids from organisations whose primary focus is delivering sectoral skills activities within the energy sector, to accelerate delivery and increase availability

of transition training courses for the energy sector and to support short courses for mature workers and recent graduates who wish to enter and gain employmnet in the sector.

The tender is split into 3 lots and bidders can submit for 1 lot, more than 1 lot or all 3 lots.

SDS may appoint a range of providers across the lots. The 3 lots are: Lot 1 – Oil & Gas; Lot 2 – Grid Transmissions & redistribution/Smrt Grid; Lot 3 – renewables – onshore/offshore wind, marine wave and tidal, microgeneration

Total quantity or scope of tender

approximately £450,000 is available inclusive of applicable VAT, however a key requirements of the bids to be received shall be a minimum of 40% match funding from bidders to increase this value.

3 Conditions for Participation

Minimum standards and qualification required

Minimum Standards and Qualifications required.

Part A of the ITT Specifies minimum standards that are pass/fail. All new bids shall be evaluated for Part A, existing bidders do not require to complete Part A if no information has changed from their previous submission.

Failure to pass any of the minimum standards, failure to provide any of the information requested in Part A, will result in your bid being disqualified and Part B of the ITT shall not be evaluated.
