Guidance and counselling services. The aim of the EAP is to support the organisation, the managers and the employees of English Heritage and it’s objectives by providing a comprehensive package of counselling support, advice, information and guidance. The contract will run for a period of 3 years, plus the possibility of a 4th year at the discretion of English Heritage.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

To Provide an Employee assistance Programme (EAP) to English heritage, which will cover the following areas:
— telephone counselling,
— face to face counselling,
— critical incident/trauma counselling and services,
— bereavement counselling,
— information service – including financial, legal, citizens advice, access to helping resources and professional agencies such as relate, family advice, household advice,
— information/advice for hr and managers,
— provision of individual case reports to the occupational health provider,
— provision of regular case information to english heritage maintaining the confidentiality of the users,
— case conferences as and when required,
— telephone advisory service,
— web/internet help line and advisory service,
— regular usage reports in a format to be agreed and to be adjusted as required,
— provide english heritage with information if there is a substantial risk to the business, to the individual or to someone else or to a young person/vulnerable adult,
— training as and when required on the service provision or any ad hoc topics of significance to the organisation,
— updates for employees on current issues,
— to provide specialist counsellors in the fields of marriage/relationship guidance, bereavement, family mediation, child protection/social work, debt, social and welfare issues, alcohol and substance abuse, critical incident, and to provide specialist counsellors for employees with disabilities or impairments,
— other ad hoc services as agreed,
— the service to be provided to circa 2,387 employees, families and friends.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: Service providers expressing an interest in this tender must complete a pre qualification questionnaire, which will be available on written or e-mailed request from the addressee in I.1. On the basis of responses to the questionnaire, English Heritage will select suppliers who will be invited to tender. The Date expressed in fig IV.3.4 is for the request and return of PQQ documents.
