Whilst Hampshire County Council have their own corporate solutions, it is acknowledged that these do not scale down to smaller establishments particularly well and so the Council is considering procuring a multi-lot framework agreement to support the delivery of ERP solutions to smaller establishments. For the avoidance of doubt, Hampshire County Council is not seeking to replace any of its own existing systems.
In respect of payroll solutions, the Council is seeking solutions that will deliver a range of service options for customers from a fully managed bureau service with secure transfer of information through to customer self service via a web based secure system. The system must be intuitive and easy to use regardless of the service level purchased and should be accessible with limited or no training required. The system will be clearly branded as Hampshire’s and the customer’s interface will show their information, name and documents processed (e.g. payslip) are logoed with customer’s name and address. Further information about the Council’s objectives can be found in the briefing document that can be downloaded from the Council’s e-tendering system: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire/aspx/Home
In response to this PIN, suppliers who capable of delivering a system that operates in accordance with the above are requested to provide details to the named contact as follows:
Supplier name, address and contact details.
Name of proposed system(s).
This PIN is being published to establish and better understand the market and suppliers within the market to supply such systems and will be used to inform the County Council’s procurement process in due course.
Anticipated start of procurement activity June 2013.
