Description of the goods or services required

Clyde Valley Housing Association are looking to appoint a suitably experience landscape contractor to undertake projects to replace and improve the hard and soft landscaping across our stock.

These projects will range from small in curtilage works to replace paths, steps, plats, walls, drying greens, improved garden drainage; to larger scale projects to improve roads, paths, car parking and common areas within our managed estates.

Total quantity or scope of tender

Over the duration of the contract, the successful tenderer can expect to work on circa 800 properties, with a current estimated contract value of £1M net of VAT.

The successful contractor would be appointed on a 3 year + 1 year extension basis, projects would be allocated on annual basis, let on a Scottish Building Contract with contractors design, or where required on a full Design and Build basis.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

As a minimum tenderers should be members of the following professional bodies:

– British Association of Landscape Industries, or

– Other relevant Professional/Trade body

and

– Construction Health and Safety Assessment Scheme
