The site consists of a combination of urban and residential roads. Kirkintilloch Road is a heavily trafficked road providing access to numerous schools, parks, leisure facilities and residential areas. Middlemuir Road provides local access to numerous residential properties. There are a number of buried services within the study area; the investigation works will determine the exact level and lo-cation of these services.
It is recommended that works begin at Middlemuir Road in mid May 2012 as it will not cause much disruption to the nearby school however at Mrytle Avenue works should commence mid June 2012 nearer the school summer break to prevent disruption to school and general area. This will be fur-ther confirmed once a contractor is appointed.
