Description of the contract

The Scottish specific duties were published in March 2012. The specific duty to ‘publish equality outcomes and report on progress’ is of particular interest to the Commission. The Commission is required to monitor Scottish public authorities’ compliance with the specific duties and has created a database which will be a robust mechanism to record compliance. To add to the Commissions knowledge on how public authorities have carried out their duties we wish to appoint a contractor to examine in more depth public authorities performance of the specific duty to publish outcomes and the employment duties. Suppliers should note that there is no Expression of Interest stage and submissions are required by 13:00 Monday 13th May 2013. We wish to contract as soon as possible after this date as possible.
