Description of the contract

The EHRC has a statutory duty under Section 12 of the equality Act 2006 to monitor progress towards equality and human rights and to report on this progress every five years. To fulfil this statutory duty, the Commission has developed its measurement framework (MF) to collect evidence on equality and human rights. The evidence gathered and analysed for this report covers England, Scotland and Wales and will be analysed at GB and country level. This will be a mix of qualitative and quantitative evidence and will be reported in a set of evidence papers, one for each domain.The first element of this tender is for provision of expertise from Wales to the EHRC GB internal quality assurance working groups and the GB external quality assurance seminars (under Chatham House rules4). The second element of this tender is to deliver and prepare reports on six expert seminars in Wales. EHRC Wales proposes to hold six expert seminars over three days during March 2015.
