Description
Walsall Council, on behalf of the Black Country Technical Assistance Team (BCTA), is seeking a high quality provider of event management services for the:
Black Country ERDF Technical Assistance Project (2016-2018).
Walsall Council is the accountable body for the Black Country European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Technical Assistance Project. This project is part funded through the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund Programme 2014-2020, the Black Country Consortium and the four Black Country Local Authorities (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton City Council). The project was awarded ?274,364 ERDF monies plus ?274,364 matched funding.
The purpose of the grant is to build on a central team for the Black Country that provides technical advisory support, ensuring that quality proposals are designed in accordance with ERDF and national funding requirements. The team facilitates wide ranging access to the Programme, through stakeholder engagement and promotional activities and events to increase the visibility of ERDF funding in the sub-region.
To help deliver these objectives, we are seeking tender proposals for an expert supplier to design and deliver a minimum of 4 ‘dissemination events’ specific to the key priority axis of the Black Country ERDF Programme:
o Priority Axis 1: Promoting research and innovation
o Priority Axis 2: Enhancing Access to, and use and quality of, Information Communication Technology
o Priority Axis 3: Enhancing the competitiveness of Small Medium Enterprises
o Priority Axis 4: Supporting the shift towards a low carbon economy in all sectors
o Priority Axis 6: Preserving and protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency.
Events should cover the above subject matter in detail showcasing examples of both national and local good practice which will support organisations of varying knowledge levels to understand how to develop their projects, interpret policy and guidance, build partnerships and/or successfully apply for ERDF monies.
