It leads the UK’s civil space programme in order to win sustainable economic growth, secure new scientific knowledge and provide benefits to all citizens. The UK Space Agency is looking to renew its support for space applications development, particularly capitalising on the contribution the Agency can make as a neutral broker between Government requirements and service providers. Therefore, the UK Space Agency would like to launch a National Space Applications Programme (NSAP), and are looking for technical professional support for the development of this new programme. Professional Support is required to research and develop the concept of NSAP, and take it from an initial scoping exercise to full programme implementation. In this context, ‘space applications’ means downstream exploitation of space assets, such as use of earth observation data and satellite navigation systems.
