The Trust seeks to enter into a partnership with a suitably capable and professionally qualified Retained Energy Management Services (REMS) provider to support general energy management and the realisation of its Sustainability Development Plan through to 2020.
The purpose of this tender document is to appoint a REMS provider to undertake the following broad scope of services, over a contractual period of 3 years with an option of an additional 2 years:
— Providing Technical energy/engineering consultancy, advice and practical support to energy projects that may take the form of new installations, equipment enhancements or equipment replacement in order to bring about a significant reduction in energy usage or carbon emissions
— Providing consultancy and practical support for changes in working practices by examining working practices/operations and thereafter making recommendations or assisting in implementation initiatives that would bring about reductions in energy and carbon emissions
— Client-side – Audit, Management and Verification of ESCo Contract
— Carbon reduction project management and verification
— Legal and other compliance support and advice
— Stakeholder awareness
It is of critical importance to the Trust that the appointed provider will be highly effective, able to work to the highest standards and form a seamless working relationship with the Trust’s delivery team.
Work will commence immediately upon award of the tender so all applicants must be able to mobilise immediately with all of the specialism’s itemised in the Form of Tender.
