Description of the goods or services required

To work in conjunction with East Ayrshire Council Economic Development Department (EAC Economic Development) to deliver a Virtual Business Week during the week of 2-6 September 2013

With a focus on Marketing, Digital Technologies, and Innovation, the events will have something for businesses of all sizes, sectors and stage of development

Each day will have a separate theme (yet to be decided but likely to include such as Digital Marketing, Alternative Funding etc) and the events will be delivered primarily online with the possibility for one or more real-life events

EAC Economic Development seeks a partner with whom to develop the scope and detail of the Virtual Business Week. We anticipate the partner providing Project Management support that would include devising events, programming of events, arranging and booking of speakers, technical set-up, design of marketing materials and promotional support.

Tender submissions must be uploaded prior to 12 noon on 29 March 2013 – no late expressions of interest can be accepted.

Tenderers must ensure they allow sufficient time to upload their submissions via the website in case there are any technical problems. Public Contracts Scotland helpdesk and the Procurement Officer must be contacted immediately if there are any problems, and in any event before the deadline of 12 noon.
