Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) invites tenders in respect of a contract for executive search, assessment and recruitment to permanent senior management posts in its revised senior management structure. It should be noted that this contract is to support appointment on the Council’s terms and conditions. It is expected that successful organisations would be those commonly referred to as executive head hunters. The revised management structure is currently subject to consultation which closes on 22nd June 2015. The recruitment process will, therefore, commence as soon as the contract is awarded and is likely to commence in July 2015. There are 7 senior management posts to be recruited, although this will be on a phased basis, likely to continue through to March 2016. The posts to be recruited (and priority of recruiting) are: Suggested first phase: Strategic Director Community Wellbeing and Housing Assistant Chief Executive Partnerships, People & Performance Assistant Director Community Safety Assistant Director Strategic Commissioning Suggested second phase: Assistant Director Independent Living Strategic Director Finance and Corporate Services Chief Executive The contract is for the provision of high quality marketing, search, assessment and recruitment of candidates. Suppliers will be expected to assist the Council to identify and recruit key officers who will be able to provide the necessary skills, energy and potential to be able to drive a major improvement agenda and address a range of significant challenges. Potential suppliers must be able to demonstrate a sufficient level of experience and competence for all of the following general and specific requirements in order to be considered suitable.
