Blackpool Council is creating a brand new family friendly museum. It will be a fun and interactive museum about why Blackpool is famous and a celebration of Blackpool’s unique place in the story of British popular culture and entertainment. We have been successful in our applications for Heritage Lottery Fund Round 1 funding and Northern Cultural Regeneration Funding and are now working towards submitting HLF Round 2. We are currently in development phase and, if successful with funding, work on site is due to start April 19.

We require the services of an experienced Exhibition Construction Manager (ECM) to project manage and deliver exhibition design, construction and fit out for the displays, retail area and temporary exhibition gallery, including CDPM, programme and cost management, procurement, delivery and installation of all related work packages. The scope of ECM services is expected to be from appointment (July 18) through to completion (RIBA2-7) subject to funding decisions.
