The Authority is procuring for the provision of an external audit and taxation service. The resultant agreement will be for an initial three year period with the option to extend for two one year periods (ie, 3 + 1 + 1) to a total term of 5 years based on acceptable performance.
The service requirements are:
External Audit – this is required for all group companies(there are 6 trading entities in the Midland Heart group,though only Midland Heart Limited is of a significant size),together with circa 80 service charge statements per annum and 5 covenant compliance statements per annum.
Taxation Advice –this includes the preparation of the corporate tax calculation based on statutory accounts prepared by Midland Heart;advice on the completion and submission of self assessment corporation tax returns and advising on what information is required for any tax elections or claims.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: Suppliers turnover must be at least four times greater than or equal to the total value of this contract or applicable lot(s) (i.e. the value of this contract must not equate to more than 25 % of the suppliers annual turnover) to be successful in this ITT. Suppliers must meet minimum financial checks, have adequate levels of Insurance cover (based on the Financial Standing section of the Suppliers Questionnaire) and be able to deliver excellent value for money throughout the contract period.
