This is a Framework Agreement will be established for Scottish Universities and Colleges to access external print goods and services from the market place. Lot 1 will cover prestigious critical work, such as prospectus and Alumni magazine. Lot 2 will cover more general marketing requirements.
Fully Managed Print Services are not in scope of this Framework Agreement.

Prestigious flagship print work and other principal corporate publications that usually require one or more of high quality; high quantity; high pagination; special or unusual finishes; and various (including perfect) binding. Storage of print for institutional call off will be required by some organisations. Distribution by mail sort to varying locations will be required by some organisations. High-end print collateral, typically printed four colour process only but that may on occasion require special inks, such as metallic, special varnishes and applications which may require complex binding or finishing; and other jobbing print requirements. Distribution by mail sort to varying locations will be required by some organisations.

It is worth noting that all candidates wishing to bid for Lot 1 must be FSC Accredited and be able to submit documentary evidence.
If a candidate is bidding for Lot 1 with major sub-contractors or as lead member of a consortium. All proposed major sub-contractors and consortium members must also be FSC Accredited and be able to submit documentary evidence.
