Extra Care Domiciliary Support is provided to enable Customers to live in their own home within the Extra Care Housing Scheme, preserving maximum independence, minimising risks and promoting good quality of life. This contract is for a 3 year term with an option to extend up to 31.7.2020 being conducted under the Light Touch Regime.

Extra Care Domiciliary Support is provided to enable Customers to live in their own home within the Extra Care Housing Scheme, preserving maximum independence, minimising risks and promoting good quality of life.
The Care Provider will be expected to provide services within this context to residents, complementing and supporting informal carers, where they exist.
The Care Provider’s 24-hour, 7 days a week on-site team’s main role is to provide personal care, practical support and some housing-related support (e.g. assistance with heating controls) to residents. In addition, the Care Provider will be responsible for monitoring installed telecare and responding to emergency calls from pendants, pull-cords, falls monitors, bed sensors, etc.
