Shipton House is located near Bethnal Green; it provides 13 one bedroom flats in a tenement building refurbished in 2013 by the landlord Peabody Trust. This scheme focuses on providing integrated care and support to older people with dementia,
Sue Starkey House is a new build scheme developed by Gateway Housing association, which opened in January 2013. It is situated in Stepney and consists of 40 units of one and two bedroom flats. Whilst also supporting older people, the service assists younger adults with a range of needs including learning and physical disabilities, and mental health conditions.
Potential providers must be able to demonstrate a strong record of partnership working and the ability to provide high quality personal and social care, supporting and maintaining individuals living in their own accommodation. They must also be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the provision of the full range of housing management functions as the owning associations require the service provider to deliver the housing management service.
The Contract requires the provider to pay the London Living Wage and offer employment to local people where possible.
The provider must have a proven track record of care, support and housing management experience in this service area, be financially viable and be able to provide a cost-effective service.
The anticipated contract start date is: Monday, 19.10.2015
The maximum value of the contract is:
850 000 GBP

Tenderers are responsible for allowing sufficient time to submit their ITT/PQQ. The Council accepts no liability whatsoever for ITT/PQQs that are not submitted due to internet connectivity issues, transmission delays or errors.
